GIMUN was founded in 2018 by the IBDP students of Goldcrest International, Vashi. The Goldcrest International Model United Nations Conference is a budding conference and the first school-affiliated MUN in the Navi Mumbai region, with over 100 delegates participating from various prestigious institutions across the city of Mumbai as well as it's neighboring regions for its first edition. With the aim to expand and excel, GIMUN adapts its purpose to create awareness about the issues that concern the modern world in the malleable minds of young students who will lead our future as well as developing a bunch of clever, responsible individuals who shall assist by taking up the responsibility to solve the social, political, humanitarian and economic crises that plague our planet this day. Whether it's the political tensions in Sudan or the terrorism in the Middle East or the ongoing economic war between the USA and China, GIMUN aims to expose students to global concerns and assist in transforming these youngsters into aware and responsible individuals, who are capable of dealing with issues with utmost diplomacy. Our conference being held on the 10th and 11th of August is a magnificent pinnacle which has been conceived by loads of perseverance and diligent work undertaken by the faculty as well as the students.
