Secretary General

The Secretary General for GIMUN II 2019, Ikshu Aswani, has rose to prominence from a delegate to a member of the executive board to the head organizer of a MUN. Her experiences as an all-rounded, seasoned debater at MUNs allow her to provide all the needful insights as well as multiple perspectives in order to sanction smooth proceedings. According to her, “A MUN is the one place where students can foster leadership and positive engagement through discussion and debate over some of the world’s most pressing matters. She has attended over 17 MUNs including Mumbai Summit 2017 having a unique experience from each one. Her vision for the conference is to engage all the delegates in the collaborative process of problem solving and consensus building as well as in roles of leadership. Her favorite subject is psychology. If you’re lucky enough you may even spot her playing her favorite sport, basketball. She finds inspiration from Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and she would like to share one of his quotes with you: “Success is not an accident, it’s a choice!”
